Right — been on this thing for about a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me last week. Am UK based, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.

How I found it was genuinely pretty stupid — I never could work out what an ew return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now punch the numbers in before every slip, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and it shows returns straight away, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles returns, lucky 15s, yankees, and that’s where most people I know lose track. What really made a difference was the more serious tools. The implied probability calculator and it makes obvious the overround, and a kelly calculator — I use half kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one gets used a fair bit if I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. Its design feels very functional, let’s say — not much flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s fine although the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. Also there’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, works. If anyone honestly works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — it’s saved me plenty of « wait, that’s it? » moments.
