OK — been on this thing for maybe a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a mate asked me last week. Am in the UK, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I’m coming from.

The reason I started using it was actually pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an e/w return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator tool is the bit I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and you get returns instantly, either odds format. Same tool covers the multiples — trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, honestly that’s where I always lose track. If you want a look, it lives at super heinz bet and it’s free with no account nonsense.

What actually shifted things for me was the geekier tools. They’ve got an implied probability calculator and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutching one gets used a fair bit when I’m spreading across selections.

Not all sunshine though. The design looks a bit basic — zero polish, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s usable but the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, just the site — slight shame but worth saying.

Anyway. Free, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone honestly does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me plenty of « wait, that’s it? » moments.

OK — been using this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me last week. I’m based in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.

How I found it was actually pretty stupid — I never could get my head round what an ew return actually came to once you get five places instead of three. I used to just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — type in the price and your stake and it spits out returns straight away, either odds format. There’s also the fiddly ones — trebles maths, lucky 15s, yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at back and lay calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that actually made a difference were the more serious tools. There’s an probability calculator that shows the overround, and a kelly staking calculator — I use half kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is decent for when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. Its interface is a bit basic — not much polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s fine though the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. Also there’s no app, it’s browser only — slight shame just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Free, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. If you even now does the maths on paper, give it a go — it’s saved me plenty of « wait, that’s it? » moments.

OK — been using this thing for about six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, generally do football and horses, nothing mad, for context.

The reason I started using it was honestly embarrassing — I could never figure out what an each way return actually was when the place terms changed. I used to just eyeball it and get a shock. Now stick my stake in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator tool is the one I’m on daily — type in your stake, the odds and it spits out the return with no faffing, either odds format. It also handles the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, honestly that’s where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at double bet calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What really changed how I bet is the geekier extras. The implied probability calculator and it makes obvious the overround, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is decent when I’m splitting a race.

It’s not perfect mind. The design is a bit basic — no flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s usable though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no app, it’s browser only — fine by me but worth saying.

Anyway. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you still does the maths on paper, try it — it’s saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
