Right — been using this thing for about six months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, mostly do football and horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

How I found it was genuinely embarrassing — I could never work out what an e/w payout would be with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just wing it and then be surprised. These days I stick my stake in before every slip, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the one I use most — you put in your stake, the odds and you get the return straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, and that’s where I always mess it up. Have a go yourself, it’s over at matched betting calculators and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What genuinely shifted things for me was the more serious tools. They’ve got an odds-to-probability calculator and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is terrifying. Dutching calculator is decent for when I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. The layout feels a bit basic — not much flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it works though the acca grid are a squeeze. Also there’s nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.

Anyway. Free, not plastered in adverts, works. If you honestly does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
