So — been using this thing for something like six months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.

What got me on it was honestly embarrassing — I never could get my head round what an e/w payout actually came to once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the one I use most — you drop in your stake, the odds and it shows returns instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, honestly that’s where I’d always mess it up. Have a go yourself, it’s over at betting implied probability and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What really made a difference is the geekier extras. The implied probability thing that shows what margin’s baked in, and a kelly staking calculator — I run quarter kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is handy too if I’m covering two or three runners.

Couple of gripes. Its design is very functional, let’s say — zero polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s fine although the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but worth saying.

So yeah. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. Anyone who still does the maths on paper, have a look — it’s saved me plenty of « wait, that’s it? » moments.

Right — been using this thing for something like four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d say something since someone asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

The reason I started using it was actually embarrassing — I couldn’t ever work out what an e/w return would be once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d guess and moan when the payout landed. Now punch the numbers in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I use most — type in the price and your stake and it spits out the return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the multiples — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, honestly that’s where most people I know got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here betting dutching calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

One thing that actually made a difference is the more serious bits. They’ve got an probability thing which shows you the overround, plus a kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutching one is decent for when I’m spreading across selections.

Not all sunshine though. Its design looks very functional, let’s say — no polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it works although the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but you asked.

Right, that’s me. Free, not plastered in adverts, works. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, have a look — saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
