OK — been on this thing for about four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d say something since a mate asked me the other day. I’m UK based, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, for context.

What got me on it was genuinely embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an ew payout actually was when the place terms changed. I used to just guess and moan when the payout landed. Now I type the odds in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator tool is the bit I use most — you put in stake and odds and it shows returns straight away, either odds format. It also handles the multiples — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, yankees, honestly that’s where most people I know got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s here ew treble calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

What actually changed how I bet were the nerdier tools. There’s an odds-to-probability thing and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly tool — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is handy too for when I’m splitting a race.

Not all sunshine though. The layout feels pretty plain — zero frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s fine but the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no app, just the site — slight shame but you asked.

So yeah. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. If you even now adds it up in their head, give it a go — saved me a fair few « wait, that’s it? » moments.
