Right — been on this thing for about six months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d say something since a mate asked me the other day. I’m in the UK, generally bet football and racing, small stakes, for context.

The reason I started using it was actually a bit daft — I could never figure out what an ew payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the part I use most — you drop in the price and your stake and it shows returns with no faffing, fractions or decimals. It also handles the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I always got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s here bet calculator uk and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that actually shifted things for me was the more serious extras. There’s an implied probability converter which shows you what margin’s baked in, and a kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one is decent if I’m covering two or three runners.

It’s not perfect mind. Its interface is very functional, let’s say — zero polish, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it works though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. And no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but you asked.

So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you still does the maths on paper, try it — it’s saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
