So — been using this thing for about four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. I’m based in the UK, generally bet football and racing, nothing mad, for context.

How I found it was genuinely a bit daft — I never could work out what an e/w payout would be when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator tool is the part I’m on daily — you put in the price and your stake and it shows the return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the bigger stuff — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, yankees, which is where I’d always got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at lucky 15 calculator — free, no signup.

The thing that actually shifted things for me were the geekier extras. They’ve got an odds-to-probability thing which shows you what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly calculator — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutching one is decent when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. Its interface looks very functional, let’s say — not much polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s usable although the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, it’s browser only — slight shame but you asked.

Anyway. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. Anyone who even now adds it up in their head, try it — saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.

So — been using this thing for maybe four months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d write something up since someone asked me a few days back. I’m UK based, generally bet football and racing, nothing mad, for context.

What got me on it was genuinely pretty stupid — I never could get my head round what an each way payout actually was once you get five places instead of three. I’d just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator tool is the one I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and you get returns straight away, either odds format. There’s also the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15s, yankees, and that’s where most people I know got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s here super yankee bet calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What really made a difference was the more serious tools. The probability thing which shows you the overround, and a kelly tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. Dutching calculator is decent if I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. The layout feels very functional, let’s say — zero flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s fine but the bigger tables are a squeeze. There’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but worth saying.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, works. If you honestly does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

Right — been on this thing for something like five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am UK based, mainly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.

How I found it was genuinely embarrassing — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an each way payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d wing it and then be surprised. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator is the part I use most — you drop in stake and odds and it shows the return with no faffing, either odds format. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, honestly that’s where most people I know got it wrong. If you want a look, it lives at betting odds to probability and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What genuinely changed how I bet was the nerdier bits. They’ve got an implied probability converter and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and a kelly tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections.

Couple of gripes. Its design feels very functional, let’s say — not much frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s fine though the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, just the site — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. If you even now does the maths on paper, try it — saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
