OK — been on this thing for maybe six months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d write something up since someone asked me the other day. I’m based in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

How I found it was genuinely a bit daft — I could never get my head round what an ew payout would be when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and then be surprised. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator is the bit I open most — you put in stake and odds and you get the return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. It also handles the bigger stuff — trebles returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, which is where I’d always mess it up. If you want a look, it’s here oddsmatching and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What genuinely changed how I bet were the nerdier tools. There’s an implied probability thing which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is handy too when I’m spreading across selections.

Couple of gripes. The design is pretty plain — zero frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On mobile it’s fine but the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.

Anyway. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. If you honestly works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — it’s saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

Right — have been messing about with this thing for maybe five months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me last week. I’m in the UK, generally bet football and racing, nothing mad, for context.

How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could figure out what an ew return actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I’d wing it and get a shock. These days I punch the numbers in first, every time, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — type in the price and your stake and it shows returns straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the multiples — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here how to calculate implied probability with fractional odds — free, no signup.

The thing that actually shifted things for me were the nerdier bits. They’ve got an odds-to-probability converter which shows you the overround, plus a kelly staking tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutching one is handy too for when I’m covering two or three runners.

Couple of gripes. Its design looks very functional, let’s say — not much frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s usable although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And no proper app, it’s browser only — slight shame just flagging it.

So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does the job. If anyone even now works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saved me plenty of « wait, that’s it? » moments.

So — been on this thing for maybe a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I’d say something since someone asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, generally bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was genuinely embarrassing — I never could work out what an each way payout actually was when the place terms changed. I used to just eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the bit I open most — you drop in your stake, the odds and it shows profit and total return straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, a yankee, which is where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at fixed odds calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What genuinely changed how I bet were the more serious bits. They’ve got an odds-to-probability converter that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is decent for when I’m covering two or three runners.

Couple of gripes. Its interface feels a bit basic — zero polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s usable although the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no app, just the site — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, works. If you honestly adds it up in their head, have a look — saved me plenty of « wait, that’s it? » moments.

So — have been messing about with this thing for maybe a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d write something up since a mate asked me last week. I’m UK based, mostly do football and horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was genuinely pretty stupid — I could never get my head round what an each way payout would be when the place terms changed. Basically I’d guess and moan when the payout landed. Now I punch the numbers in first, every time, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and it shows returns instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, which is where most people I know mess it up. If you want a look, it’s here single bets calculator — free, no signup.

What actually changed how I bet were the more serious extras. There’s an probability thing which shows you what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutch tool is decent if I’m splitting a race.

Not all sunshine though. Its layout feels very functional, let’s say — zero polish, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s usable but the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. And no app, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

Anyway. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, have a look — saves me plenty of « wait, that’s it? » moments.

OK — been using this thing for about five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am in the UK, mainly do football and horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.

How I found it was honestly pretty stupid — I could never work out what an each way return would be once you get five places instead of three. I used to just wing it and then be surprised. Now punch the numbers in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and it shows the return instantly, either odds format. It also handles the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, which is where most people I know got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s here work out patent bet — free, no signup.

What really shifted things for me was the geekier extras. The probability calculator which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is handy too when I’m spreading across selections.

It’s not perfect mind. Its interface looks pretty plain — no frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s fine but the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s nothing on the app store, just the site — fine by me but you asked.

So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, works. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
